Terms of Use
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the Lokin mobile application (the “App”). By accessing or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
1. Acceptance of Terms
Users confirm they are at least 13 years old with legal capacity to agree. Those under 18 represent parental or guardian consent.
2. Description of Service
Lokin is a productivity and focus application designed to help users stay focused using Apple's Screen Time API. Processing occurs locally; no remote servers collect user data.
3. User Accounts
The App currently requires no account creation. Future versions may introduce account features with updated Terms.
4. Acceptable Use
Prohibited activities include, but are not limited to:
- Reverse engineering or attempting to extract the source code of the App.
- Unauthorized access attempts to the App, its servers, or related systems.
- Developing competing products derived from the App.
- Distributing the App without consent.
- Removing proprietary notices, trademarks, or copyright markings.
- Impairing functionality or interfering with other users' experience.
5. Intellectual Property
All App content is Lokin property protected by intellectual property laws. Users receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license for personal, non-commercial use.
6. Privacy
Our collection and use of information is governed by our Privacy Policy, incorporated by reference.
7. Disclaimers
The App is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. Focus scores are informational only and not a clinical or medical metric.
8. Limitation of Liability
Lokin isn't liable for indirect or consequential damages. Maximum liability is amounts paid in the preceding 12 months or $50 USD, whichever is greater.
9. Termination
Lokin may suspend or terminate access at any time. Users may terminate by deleting the App; local data is removed upon uninstallation.
10. Changes to Terms
Lokin reserves the right to modify these Terms. Material changes will trigger an in-app notification or an updated “Last Updated” date.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by applicable jurisdiction laws.
